At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site Paragliding Weather synopsis based on 07:00 forecasts. Mild high pressure established, with low pressure to northwest encroaching towards evening.  Jet stream over the Vancouver area yielding potential for sudden gusty winds. Vancouver paragliding: winds aloft at 3000ft forecast to 11:00 as southeast to 19 km/hr; switching to northeast to 20 km/hr through 22:00.  Fraser valley winds forecast as east to 15 km/hr.  Seattle paragliding: winds aloft at 3000ft forecast as east to 21 km/hr and northeast to 18 km/hr. Ground stations in Bellingham & Seattle calling for north winds to 16 km/hr.  Marginal paragliding day.

1. Paragliding Seattle: lapse -2.8: advanced.  Tiger mountain for advanced  paragliding 11:00 on today.  Be mindfull of the jet stream, outflow/rotor and potential for sudden increasing gusty winds. Chances 50/50.

2. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse -2.3C/1000ft: novice. Blanchard's sea breeze may overpower northeast outflow condition.  P3 intermediate paragliding conditions, watch for north or east winds and also potential for sudden increasing winds. Gate is locked and requires hike in. Chances 50/50.

3. Paragliding Pemberton: lapse -2.7: advanced paraglider pilots can snowshoe and paraglide at Mackenzie. Chances 50/50.
