At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas. Transitioning pressure brings mostly cloudy skies. Vancouver Paragliding - early east ouflow to 10 km/hr transitioning to west to 25 km/hr.  Winds at 3000ft norhwest to 10 km/hr becoming light and variable. Seattle Paragliding - valley winds light and variable with 3000ft winds light and variable. Marginal day for paragliding with best prospects in Seattle.

2. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.2C/1000ft lapse rate: novice. Blanchard for P2 paragliders 08:00-13:00 watch for strong seabreeze arrival and P3 conditions thereafter. 70:30 paragliding chances.

3. Paragliding Vancouver: - 2.2C/1000ft lapse rate: novice. Wait for clouds to clear summit. GMFT members at Grouse 10:00-20:00.  Paragliding prospects 60:40.

4. Paragliding Chilliwack: -2.8C/1000ft lapse rate: advanced.  Wait for cloud to clear summit.  If bue holes develop will get strong with strong seabreeze arrival late in day. Woodside with P4 conditions 12:00-19:00. 50:50 chances to paraglide.

Paragliding Vancouver: east ouflow to 10 km/hr transitioning early to inflow to 20 km/hr, with 3000ft winds aloft northwest to 14km/hr becoming west to 23 km/hr. Paragliding Seattle - light and variable valley winds becoming northwest to 15 km/hr. 3000ft winds aloft northwest to 13km/hr becoming light and variable.

Paragliding Vancouver -  outflow to 10 km/hr diminishing and becoming west inflow to 10 km/hr. Southeast 3000ft winds aloft to 15 km/hr transitioning to light and variable. Paragliding Seattle -  southwest valley winds to 15 km/hr, with 3000ft winds southwest and increasing to 18 km/hr. Vancouver, Chilliwack, Whistler, Pemberton, Bellingham and Seattle areas not recommended for paragliding today.
