At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Paragliding Vancouver -  southwest valley winds variable and gusting to 35 km/hr, 3000ft winds aloft southwest and increasing to 26 km/hr.  POP 60% with risk of thunderstorms.  Paragliding Seattle - valley wind south and increasing to 40 km/hr.  3000ft winds aloft southwest to 37 km/hr. Seattle Paragliding - valley wind south and increasing to 24 km/hr, with winds at 3000ft south to 15 km/hr. Paragliding Vancouver: valley winds east to 20 km/hr becoming south to 40 km/hr and gusting/rotoring with variable directions in the valley. Winds aloft at 3000ft southeast to 30km/hr becoming southwest to 38 km/hr. Paragliding Seattle: valley wind south and increasing to 32 km/hr. 3000 ft winds aloft southwest to 53 km/hr. Paragliding not recommended today in Vancouver, Chilliwack, Whistler, Pemberton, Bellingham or Seattle.

Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area paragliding weather forecast. Unstable conditions with high lapse rate due to low pressure, with windy conditions early. Vancouver Paragliding: valley winds west and gusting to 40 km/hr early and easing to 20 km/hr as the day progresses.  Chilliwack calling for windy conditions and 70% POP.  3000ft winds northwest to 65 km/hr easing and becoming southwest to 12 km/hr late in the day. Seattle Paragliding: valley winds southwest to 32 km/hr easing to 16 km/hr as the day progresses. Winds at 3000 ft light southwest to 8 km/hr becoming southeast to 13 km/hr. With 40-70% POP and windy conditions in the valleys for the majority of the day, Chilliwack, Pemberton, Whistler, Seattle not recommended for paragliding today. Vancouver and Bellingham may have narrow windows to fly for P4 advanced pilots.

Paragliding Vancouver: lapse rate: -3.0C/1000ft: advanced.  GMFT P4 advanced members at Grouse 14:00-17:00.  Watch for windy conditions early to subside and then strong lapse rate with potential for OD.  Chances to paraglide 50:50.

Paragliding Bellingham: lapse rate: -2.5C/1000ft: intermediate. P4 advanced pilots may have narrow window to fly Blanchard.  Wait for strong southwest winds to subside. 14:00-19:00 with chances to paraglide 50:50.
