Mostly sunny skies with early cloud & fog burning off. Jet stream has dipped south and is directly overhead, bringing cold polar air down behind it. Combined with katabatic flows, the net result is strong northeast outflow winds in valleys, with possibility for sudden changes in wind speed and direction.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft east to 15 km/hr becoming northeast to 9 km/hr. Novice Peak lapse rate -1.4C/1000ft. 

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft northeast to 22 km/hr. Novice Peak lapse rate -1.7C/1000ft.

Valley winds in Chillwack at 06:00 NW 19km/hr and gusting to 34 km/hr, with forecast valley winds NE to 60 km/hr later on.

Mostly sunny skies with early cloud & fog burning off. 

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft northwest to 20 km/hr, becoming north-northwest to 11 km. (Winds aloft forecast is suspect, possible outflow aloft condition, see SEA forecast). Novice Peak lapse rate -2.2 C/1000ft. 

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft northeast to 26 km/hr becoming east to 24 km/hr. Novice Peak lapse rate -1.9C/1000ft.

Early valley east outflow throughout, NE to E wind aloft at SEA, with NNW (Suspect E actual) at YVR places many sites in lee side. Most reliable site Blanchard, proximate to sea breeze.

1. Paragliding Bellingham: -1.5C/1000ft: novice peak lapse rate. Wait for outflow to end and sea breeze to establish.  Blanchard for P2 pilots 12:00-18:00. 80% chances for paragliding.

2. Paragliding Chilliwack: - 2.5C/1000ft: Intermediate peak lapse rate.  Wait for valley and winds aloft east outflow to end. Bridal 14:00-18:00 only with lots of caution and only for advanced pilots. If north wind aloft forecast gets realized, could make entire ridge line soarable. Watch for potentially rough conditions when transitioning from outflow to inflow. Paragliding chances 50%.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable, becoming northwest to 11 km/hr. Advanced Peak lapse rate -2.9C/1000ft.

Best sites are Bellingham and Seattle to avoid low cloud.
