At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site Weather: Oct.6

Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area paragliding weather forecast. High pressure brings sunny skies but outflow and catabatic conditions prevail. Vancouver-Chilliwack corridor: winds in the valley outflow gusting to 40 km/hr and subsiding as the day progresses. 3000ft winds aloft east to 15km/hr. Seattle paragliding corridor: valley winds north to northeast increasing to 24 km/hr with winds aloft at 3000 ft east to 41 km/hr reducing to 21 km/hr. Most launches in leeside. Paragliding not recommended throughout with the exception of Blanchard, which may work late.

Bellingham paragliding.  Lapse rate -1.7C/1000ft: novice P2 paragliding.  Blanchard is immediately proximate to the ocean and takes sea-breeze early and is at a low altitude.  May work post 13:00, but wait for catabatic flow and outflow to stop, and seabreeze to establish, use caution.

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas. Mixed skies due to localized high pressure.  Paragliding Vancouver: east outflow valley winds in morning becoming light inflow as the day progresses.  Winds aloft light and variable becoming northwest to 19 km/hr. Paragliding Seattle: valley winds northeast to 16 km/hr becoming north to 16 km/hr, with winds aloft at 3000ft north 31 km/hr reducing to 23 km/hr. Wait for anabatic & seabreeze flow to establish, then OK day for paragliding late in Pemberton & Chilliwack.

Paragliding Vancouver:  gusty west winds 26 to 40 km/hr near water, subsiding as the day progresses, with 3000ft winds aloft west to 16 km/hr. Paragliding Seattle: valley winds light outflow becoming northwest to 15 km/r as the day progresses, with winds aloft at 3000ft north to 23 km/hr. Wait for clouds to lift and anabatic flow to establish, then OK day for paragliding late in Pemberton, Whistler, Bellingham & Seattle.

Seattle Paragliding - valley winds light outflow becoming west to 10 km/hr as the day progresses.  3000 ft winds north to northwest to 16 km/hr as the day progresses. Wait for clouds to lift and anabatic flow to establish, then OK day for paragliding late in Pemberton, Whistler, Chilliwack, Vancouver, Bellingham & Seattle.

Vancouver-Chilliwack-Pemberton corridor: winds in the valley outflow to 10 km/r becoming inflow as the day progresses. 3000ft winds aloft light and variable. Bellingham-Seattle paragliding corridor: valley winds 10 km/hr east becoming 10 km/hr southwest as the day progresses. Winds aloft at 3000 ft light and variable.   Most of the summits in cloud: Paragliding not recommended throughout.
