At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site Paragliding Weather July 1/11

iParaglide Paragliding Weather summary based on 07:00 forecasts. Low pressure to northwest brings cloudy skies and showers. Vancouver paragliding: winds aloft at 3000ft forecast as light and variable to 22:00.  Valley winds forecast as light and variable.  Seattle paragliding: winds aloft at 3000ft forecast as light and variable to 13:00 becoming north at 10 km/hr through 22:00.  Ground stations in Bellingham and Seattle calling for W and NW winds, respectively, to 16 km/hr.  Marginal day for paragliding.     

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse -1.6C/1000ft: novice. P2 novice paragliding conditions at Blanchard 09:00-20:00. Cloudy becoming sunny in afternoon. Best chance for paragliding as Blanchard often has a blue hole when its raining elsewhere. Chances 70/30.

2. Paragliding Seattle: lapse -1.9: novice. Tiger mountain for P2 Novice paragliding 08:00-13:00 and 17;00-21:00 with intermediate paragliding 13:00-17:00. Chances 70/30.

3. Paragliding Chilliwack: lapse -3.2: advanced. 40% POP. Watch for potential overdevelopment. P4 advanced paragliding post 12:00.  Chances 30/70. 

4. Paragliding Vancouver: Lapse -3.0: advanced. 40% POP. Watch clouds with potential OD over summit. Grouse Mountain Flying Team only, advanced P4 paraglider pilots. Chances 30/70.

5. Paragliding Pemberton: lapse -2.6: intermediate.  60% POP.  Chances 10/90.

6. Paragliding Whistler: lapse -2.8: advanced.  Whistler team advanced P4 paraglider pilots only. Chances 10/90.
