Top Gun Flight School

At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas. Transitioning pressure brings mixed skies with clearing in afternoon. Paragliding Vancouver - light and variable valley winds throughout with light and variable winds at 3000ft. Paragliding Seattle - light and variable valley winds and winds at 3000ft. Afternoon should open up for nice fall flights in select areas.

1. Bellingham Paragliding: -1.2C/1000ft lapse rate: novice. Blue hole should open up. 11:00-18:00 at Blanchard for P2 paragliders.  80:20 paragliding prospects.

2. Seattle Paragliding: -1.5C/1000ft lapse rate: novice.  Tiger for P2 pilots 11:00-18:00. 70:30 chances for paragliding. 

3. Pemberton Paragliding: -1.5C/1000ft lapse rate: novice.  Mackenzie for P2 pilots 11:00- 18:00. 60:40 odds to paraglide.

Vancouver Paragliding - valley flow light and variable with winds aloft at 3000 ft southwest to 20 km/hr.  Seattle Paragliding - valley winds light and becoming norh to 15 km/hr, with 3000 ft winds light and variable. Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas not recommended for paragliding today.

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas. High pressure brings sunny skies and  light winds. Paragliding Vancouver - light east outflow in morning becoming west to 5 km/hr as day progresses.  3000ft winds light and variable throughout. Paragliding Seattle - valley winds light east otflow in morning becoming west inflow to 5 km/hr. Winds aloft at 3000ft light and varaiable throughout. Nice fall day for paragliding with light conditions.

Vancouver Paragliding - light flow becoming west to 10 km/hr as day progresses.  Winds aloft at 3000ft east to 11 km/hr becoming southeast to 13 km/hr as the day progresses. Seattle Paragliding - winds in valley light and variable with 3000 ft winds southeast to 15 km/hr. Good day for paragliding in select spots.

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas. High pressure and sunny skies, with outflow persisting until mid-day. Paragliding Vancouver - east valley outflow to 10 km/hr becoming inflow to 10 km/hr.  3000ft winds east to 22 km/hr easing to light and variable in afternoon. Paragliding Seattle - valley winds northeast to 16 km/hr becoming north. Winds at 3000 ft east to 27 km/hr. Late day for paragliding throughout, then strong.  P4 pilots wait till 14:00 for outflow and katabatic conditions to end.
