Paragliding Weather Forecast for the Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area, based on data available at 0500.

High pressure with passing minor front aloft with high altitude cloud early, becoming progressively sunnier throughout day.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable. Vancouver Valley east outflow to 10 km/hr becoming inflow west to 10 km/hr by 10:00. Chilliwack Valley winds light outflow followed by west inflow to 15 km/hr. Pemberton with30% POP and risk of thunderstorm in afternoon.

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable becoming S to 10 km/hr. Valley winds light and variable becoming West to 10 km/hr.

1. Paragliding Chilliwack: -2.4C/1000ft Intermediate peak lapse rate. Woodside is closed for works today. Bridal for P2 pilots 1100-1400 then watch for arrival of sea breeze with sunnier skies and increasing lapse rate to intermediate P3 conditions 1400-2000. Chances for paragliding 80%.

2. Paragliding Seattle: -2.6C/1000ft Intermediate peak lapse rate. Great day for Tiger for P2 pilots 0900-1300 and 1800-2100 with P3 conditions at peak 1300-1800. Prospects for paragliding 90%.

3. Paragliding Vancouver: -1.9C/1000ft Novice peak lapse rate. Grouse for GMFT 1100-1900 for P3 to P4 pilots. Chances for paragliding 90%.

4. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.3C/1000ft Novice peak lapse rate. Blanchard for P2 pilots 0900-2000. Chances to paraglide 90%.
