At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area, based on data available at 08:00.

Low pressure to northwest continues to bring instability. 

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft east to 17 km/hr becoming light and variable. Peak lapse rate -2.2C/1000ft: novice. 

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable. Peak lapse rate -3.0C/1000ft: advanced.

Marginal day for paragliding with 30-60% POP in Fraser Valley. Best prospects south in Bellingham and Seattle.

1. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.8 C/1000ft: advanced peak lapse rate. Blanchard for P2 pilots 09:00-13:00 and 18:00-20:00 with P4 conditions 13:00-18:00.  90% chances for paragliding.

2. Seattle Paragliding: -3.0C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Strong day at Tiger for P4 pilots 11:00-18:00, with P2 windows 08:00-11:00 and 18:00-20:00. Paragliding opportunities 80%.

3. Pemberton Paragliding: - 2.5C/1000ft intermediate peak lapse rate. Wait for early cloud to clear. Mackenzie for P2 pilots 11:00-14:00 and 18:00-20:00 with P3 conditions 14:00-18:00. Watch for potential OD. 50% chances to paraglide.

4. Whistler Paragliding: - 2.7C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate.  Wait for early cloud to lift. Blackcomb for Whistler team pilots 11:00:00-20:00. Prospects for paragliding 50%.

5. Vancouver Paragliding: - 2.2C/1000ft novice peak lapse rate. Wait for cloud to lift and early outflow aloft to end. GMFT advanced P4 pilots at Grouse. 13:00-20:00.  40% paragliding prospects.

6. Paragliding Chilliwack: - 2.7C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate.  Early east wind aloft places sites in lee. Wait for lee-side to end, then watch for rock and roll conditions. P4 pilots may get a window 14:00-19:00. 40% chances to paraglide.
