At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site Weather: August 22

Paragliding weather forecast for the Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton area, based on data available at 07:00.

Sunny skies continue due to high pressure.

YVR 3000 ft winds aloft light and variable.  Peak lapse rate -2.1C/1000ft: novice. 

SEA 3000 ft winds aloft northeast to 19 km/hr becoming north to 13 km/hr. Peak lapse rate -2.5C/1000ft: intermediate.

Great day for paragliding in Pemberton and Seattle. Chillwack in outflow, but will come on late.

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Pemberton Paragliding: - 3.1C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate. Great day for XC for advanced pilots. Mackenzie for P2 pilots 09:00-13:00 and 18:00-20:00 with P4 conditions 13:00-18:00. Paragliding prospects 90%.

 2. Seattle Paragliding: -2.5C/1000ft intermediate peak lapse rate. Great day for Tiger for P2 pilots 10:00-14:00 and 17:00-20:00, with P3 conditions 14:00-17:00. 90% chances to paraglide. 

3. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.3 C/1000ft: novice peak lapse rate. Blanchard for P2 pilots 010:00-20:00. Proximity to ocean means sea-breeze will overpower outflow early. 80% chances for paragliding.

4. Whistler Paragliding: - 3.2.C/1000ft advanced peak lapse rate.  Strong day at Blackcomb for Whistler team pilots 10:00:00-20:00. Prospects for paragliding 90%.

5. Vancouver Paragliding: - 2.1C/1000ft novice peak lapse rate. GMFT pilots at Grouse 10:00-20:00.  90% paragliding prospects.

6. Paragliding Chilliwack: - 2.9C/1000ft advanced lapse rate. Wait for early outflow and leeside conditions to end wiht the arrival of anabatic flows and the sea-breeze to establish.  Strong Day with rough conditions at transition to inflow. Woodside and Bridal for P4 advanced pilots 13:00-20:00. 60% paragliding opportunities.
