At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 1900 paragliding students in our 26 years of operation.

We are the the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site Weather: Oct 13

Paragliding weather forecast for Vancouver, Chilliwack, Bellingham, Seattle, Whistler & Pemberton areas. Sunny skies due to ridge of high pressure. Paragliding Vancouver: valley winds E outflow to 10 km/hr becoming W inflow to 10 km/hr post 14:00. Winds aloft at 3000ft light and variable, becoming NW to 9 km/hr in afternoon. Paragliding Seattle: valley winds NE outflow to 15 km/hr becoming N to 15 km/hr. Winds aloft at 3000ft N to 15km/hr becoming N to 29km/hr post 13:00. Marginal day for paragliding with outflow placing Chilliwack sites in lesside until post 13:00, and increasing north wind aloft problematic for Seattle sites. Vancouver & Pemberton sites most promising.

1. Paragliding Vancouver: - 2.2C/1000ft lapse rate: novice. Grouse for Grouse Mountain Flying Team members 13:00-17:00. Wait for anabatic conditions to establish. Chances for paragliding 80:20.

2. Paragliding Pemberton: -2.3C/1000ft lapse rate: novice.  P2 novice paragliders upper Mackenzie 12:00-16:00 Paragliding chances 80:20.

3. Paragliding Whistler: -2.4C/1000ft lapse rate: intermediate.  Whistler team members 12:00-17:00. Chances to paraglide 70:30.   

4. Paragliding Bellingham: -2.3C/1000ft lapse rate: novice. Blanchard for P2 pilots 11:00-16:00 with caution, watch for possible north wind aloft shutting things down.  Paragliding prospects 60:40.  

5. Paragliding Seattle: -2.3C/1000ft lapse rate: novice. Tiger for P3 paragliders 11:00-15:00. Watch for increasing north wind aloft. Chances to paraglide 40:60.  

6. Paragliding Chilliwack: -2.3C/1000ft lapse rate: novice.  P3 paragliders Woodside 13:00-17:00 wait for anabatic conditions and sea-breeze to overpower outflow. Watch for outflow/leeside early. Chances to paraglide 30:70.
