Top Gun Flight School

At iParaglide Top Gun Flight School, we take pride in having taught over 2,000 paragliding students in our 27 years of operation.

 

We are the longest running school based in Metro Vancouver. Due to our central location, we are the only school that flies all of the relevant kiting parks, training hills and mountains within a 3 hour radius of Vancouver.  This empowers pilots to get to know the key training and flying spots early, optimizes and accelerates learning, and allows them to grow into great future pilots.  

We have the reputation of being an industry leader with an emphasis on engineered safety systems, quality instruction, the finest equipment and creating a positive learning environment for fun and empowering flying.

We offer the highest level of accreditation, with Senior HPAC and Advanced USHPA paragliding instructors, who coach from first flight to expert paraglider pilots and teach and qualify new paragliding instructors.

iParaglide Right Site Paragliding Weather summary, based on 04:00 forecasts. High pressure with cloudyn morning becoming sunny. Paragliding Vancouver - 3000ft winds aloft light and variable becoming W to 22 km/hr through 22:00. Valley winds W to 10 km/hr. Paragliding Seattle - 3000 ft winds aloft NE to 10 km/hr to 16:00. Ground stations in Bellingham and Seattle calling for 10 km/hr W and N winds, respectively.  Marginal day for paragliding.  

iParaglide Right Site Ranking:

1. Chilliwack Paragliding: lapse -2.3C/1000ft: novice. Watch webcam for potential cloud in morning with P2 novice paragliding 08:00-12:00 if it lifts.  Watch for increasing west wind and advanced paragliding conditions post 13:00. Chances 60/40.

2. Paragliding Bellingham: lapse -1.7: novice. Watch for light N wind and possible leeside. Novice paraglider pilots 09:00-20:00. Chances 60/40.

3. Paragliding Vancouver: lapse -2.3: novice. Watch for cloud on summit. Grouse Mountain Flying Team only, advanced P4 paraglider pilots. Chances 60/40.

4. Paragliding Whistler: lapse -3.3: advanced. Watch for strong conditons and strong west wind. Whistler team advanced P4 paraglider pilots only. Chances 50/50.

5. Paragliding Pemberton: lapse -3.1: advanced. Watch for early arrival of Whistler Express wind and strong conditions. P4 advanced paraglider pilots 10:00-20:00. Chances 40/60.

6. Paragliding Seattle: lapse -1.9: novice. Drizzle in morning. Paragliding chances 30/70.
